IMDB PRO + TEEN SPIRIT | BRAND PARTNERSHIP

BCG partnered IMDB Pro with the film Teen Spirit for a memorable premiere after-party during the Toronto International Film Festival. The event, designed and produced by BCG, featured seamless IMDB Pro and Teen Spirit brand integration from a bright co-branded step and repeat to non-traditional branded accents such as charming napkins, stir sticks, luxe linen pillows and embroidered wool blankets. IMDB Pro and Teen Spirit insignias were organically showcased on multiple digital screens and custom touchpoints within the space. Thematic elements and neon color palettes from the film’s key artwork were incorporated into the colorful lounge seating vignettes and vibrant lighting scheme. Guests were treated to a top-shelf bar and flavorful canapés and sweets.

HFPA + NIKKI BEACH CANNES | BRAND PARTNERSHIP

BCG established a partnership, now three years and running, between Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Nikki Beach Club during the Cannes Film Festival. With terms negotiated by BCG, Nikki Beach Cannes served as an official sponsor and hosting venue for the annual HFPA philanthropic event and the organization’s Riviera-facing lounge

Occupying a renowned expanse of beachfront between the famed Croisette and the Mediterranean Sea, Nikki Beach boasts an ethereal atmosphere with indoor and outdoor settings set on seagrass flooring. It is reimagined each season with a fresh floral scheme and custom lounge seating that complements the Club’s branded director chairs in the dining room. The venue buzzes with the Club’s global clientele base and talent arriving for HPFA press conferences about films premiering at the Festival and the casts of films celebrating their Cannes debuts.

BCG staff managed the HFPA’s private lounge and attended to its journalist members seeking a private space to take meetings or participating in press conferences with casts from Blackkklansman, The Dead Don’t Die, and The Lighthouse. Popular Nikki Beach dishes with French-Riviera inspired creations by its chief chef were served by a hand-picked team of staff from the Club’s global footprint and their top DJ’s were flown in for the occasion. In preparation for the HFPA’s gala event to present its Humanitarian Award and accompanying $500,000 grant, BCG coordinates production with venue representatives and manages the guest list, including outreach to media guests. Presenters of the grant have included Jake Gyllenhaal (2017), Cate Blanchett, and John Travolta (2018)  and Helen Mirren and Robert Pattinson (2019) and the event draws a who’s who of notables, requiring adept management of red carpet arrivals and proactive logistics.

HUGO BOSS | BRAND PARTNERSHIP

For several consecutive years, BCG aligned client Hugo Boss Canada with prominent films such as La La Land, Beautiful Boy, I, Tonya and Endings Beginnings for an annual event during the Toronto International Film Festival. Bringing to bear an established local network, downtown Toronto hotspots such as Lavelle, Montecito, and Soho House were secured for the brand’s exclusive use and outfitted in collaboration with the internal team to the luxury fashion brand’s exacting specifications. Lavish furnishings, custom decor, and elevated cuisine conspired to turn each event into a coveted invitation amongst a nightly party lineup in the dozens during TIFF.

BREADWINNER | BRAND PARTNERSHIP

BCG worked with clients  Cactus Club Toronto and Indigo to host the screening party for Breadwinner during the Toronto Film Festival for Elevation Pictures. The elevated and interactive family-friendly event for the Angelina Jolie-produced project by director Nora Twomey, required meticulous execution and streamlined logistics appropriately tailored for the film, which takes place in rural Afghanistan.

Inspired by a candy factory scene in the film, a colorful candy display welcomed guests on arrival. Adults and children alike enjoyed engaging with a greenscreen photo booth, as well as a “wish wall” that provided a thoughtful keepsake. BCG organically integrated the Cactus Club and Indigo brands into the space, which also featured colorful arrangements reminiscent of the color palettes of the Afghanistan desert.
