For Focus Features’ world premiere of Harriet, BCG produced an at-capacity screening at the iconic Orpheum Theater and private after-party that showcased the historically significant film. A grand, 64-foot red carpet with a plush pile and film artwork was installed adjacent to the landmark venue, requiring street closures and tightly coordinated logistics that enabled passersby to view and cheer each arrival.

The BCG team oversaw hospitality and seating logistics, checking in a curated list of 1,000 guests and fans who were invited to peruse a display of costumes and artifacts from the film before taking their seats. As the end credits rolled, the film’s star, Cynthia Erivo took the stage accompanied by members of the enthralling L.A. Mass Choir, with dozens more joining their voices from the mezzanine balcony of the theater.

The newly opened hotspot Soho House Downtown LA was chosen for the after-party and decorated with sepia-toned images of the film’s characters. Guests were treated to an evening of delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and music from DJ Stokes.

BCG designed and stage-produced an elegant Oscar Award celebration for an industry crowd in a large-scale ballroom at the Montage Beverly Hills. Vibrant lighting filled the room and lavish table settings with tangerine and yellow-hued blooms set the stage for an opulent multi-course seated dinner and grand musical spectacle featuring surprise performances by Cynthia Erivo, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Nicole Scherzinger in front of a shimmering floor-to-ceiling beaded backdrop. BCG also managed the integration of key sponsorships with GREY GOOSE Vodka and NetJets.

BCG produced an extravagant premiere event for Lionsgate’s celebration of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire during the Cannes Film Festival. Even before arrival guests were transported into the world of the film’s mythic Capitol when they received custom invitations paired with a coded ticket and pin required to gain entry. An expansive beachfront tent was elaborately transformed with billowing red fabric, dramatic candelabras, crystal chandeliers. Towering floral arrangements with over 10,000 elegant white rose blooms and large Roman columns topped with peonies and candles lent more eye-catching drama.

Framed portraits of Hunger Games characters adorned the walls and the Capitol seal was prominently displayed at the end of a pier jutting into the sea. Staffing duties were executed by an army of greeters dressed in grand chic-dystopian fashion. Guests enjoyed a selection of savory canapés, colorful bespoke cocktails, and a selection of desserts alongside three-tiered chocolate fondue fountains. DJ Snake kept the dancing going well into the night. BCG oversaw the logistics and brand integration of event sponsor COVERGIRL.

BCG produced a red carpet and cocktail event for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual reveal of the official Golden Globe Ambassadors. Guests arrived to a striking gold and black backdrop, extending the length of the venue’s exterior and a  larger-than-life replica of the famous Golden Globe statue. Gold tinted balloons and multi-colored, floral arrangements decorated contemporary tables. Ana Calderon had the low lit venue buzzing and guests enjoyed top-shelf spirits and lavish canapés. BCG also created and produced brand integrated elements for key sponsor BritBox on behalf of THR, including a “What’s your tea?” concept where guests were invited to sample a tea as a reference to a show featured on the channel. The guest list for the highly regarded industry event was curated and managed by BCG.
