BCG secured the impressive and highly coveted Serpentine Gallery installation of Bjarke Ingels Unzipped for NETFLIX’s celebration of Roma at the Toronto International Film Festival, then contending for the 2019 Academy Award for Best Picture, which it eventually won. The evening cocktail event was the first event to be hosted at this expansive temporary installation in Toronto, which was complemented with a monumental Roma structure positioned nearby that mirrored the metallic finish of Unzipped and proved a compelling photo backdrop for guests.
Beautiful greenery, colorful floral arrangements and ambient candles were found throughout the space along with branded decor elements. Upon entry, guests were greeted by a live string quartet who performed some of the traditional Mexican songs featured in the film. Inside guests enjoyed custom cocktails and canapés while DJ Zen Freeman served up crowd favorites.
